Edmund W. Miles Middle School in Amityville held its annual induction ceremony for the National Junior Honor Society on June 7.

Students were recognized for their exceptional grades, service, leadership, character and citizenship, the pillars of being a member of the society. The district congratulates each new member of the National Junior Honor Society on this impressive achievement.
