EWMMS Plays ‘The Music Man’ this Weekend

The Edmund W. Miles Middle School Drama Club and director Carl Ferrara invite the community to attend this weekend’s performances of “The Music Man.” All are welcome to enjoy the talents of the EWMMS thespians as they take the stage of the school’s gymnasium/auditorium this Friday, May 17 and Saturday May 18. Both performances begin at 7.30 pm. Tickets are $5 at the door.

Based on the Tony-award-winning Broadway musical, “The Music Man” tells the story of con man Harold Hill, who poses as a band organizer and leader to sell instruments and uniforms to naive townsfolk before librarian and piano teacher Marian Paroo catches on to him. The story takes a turn when Harold helps Marian’s younger brother overcome his fear of social interaction, causing Marian to see the good in him.
